Rae Peacock Hair.
Like so many women I used to have a total fear of getting my hair cut after several awful experiences. However the magician Rae has restored my faith and I never leave the salon feeling disappointed.
I first discovered Rae Peacock through Facebook. His port folio was so impressive i had to book a consultation. To be honest i was pretty nervous about going in as my hair was in a horrific state. But Craig and Rae welcomed me in like an old friend and offered me a lovely cup of loose leaf tea. Rae offered me brilliant advice on how to keep my hair as healthy as possible until my actual appointment, which was a few weeks away as Rae is always booked up for weeks in advance. However thank goodness they had a cancellation and Craig called me and offered me the space due to the awful knick of my hair!
My first experience with getting my hair done here was amazing. Craig served me a home made cocktail and home made brownies. Both tasted absolutely amazing and Rae was a pleasure to speak with. Whilst my colour was developing i took a closer look at the salon itself and the decor is beautiful. Cosy, warm and elegant. The background music is modern but relaxing.
You know salons have that salon smell? Well not Rae’s!! That’s because they use Davines hair products. Davines are an organic, all natural company which not only make shampoos but also hair colours. My hair has never felt so good! And the products themselves smell lush. Since the first time my hair was washed with this product I was hooked and I religiously only use these shampoos.
I have seen Rae several times since this experience and like I said earlier i have never left dissatisfied. Today I gave Rae full reign on my blonde panel and I’m glad I did. I feel like a mermaid with pastel pinks and blues layered into my hair.
Not only Rae (the head stylist) the whole Peacock team are wonderful. Craig who works on reception and is Rae’s husband always welcomes you with a smile and bakes one hell of a brownie! Gary another stylist is such a delight to talk to and the newest member of the team Hannah is so sweet I could just put her into my pocket!
I get my hair done every 10-12 weeks and I always look forward to my visits :)
